I was safe until you guys came along, digging up all those other Hitchcock lookalikes. Now we'll have to find ways of disposing of them... —Ron Burrage, Hitchcock double
The Hitchcock Castings documents Grimonprez's hunt for the perfect Hitchcock doppelgänger. Focusing on Hitchcock's cameo appearances in each of his films, the work deploys a number of Hitchcock doubles to conjure up an unexpected narrative of mistaken identity from Hitchcock's 50-year history of walk-on parts.
